Cyril clinches golf victory with 41 points

Billy Francis was second on 39 points, followed by the ever-steady Debbie Catlett on 36 points after a count out.

Cyril Mkhwanazi scored an excellent 41 points to win the IPS Club Competition on Saturday. Billy Francis was second on 39 points, followed by the ever-steady Debbie Catlett on 36 points after a count out. Cyril also carded the only two-club of the day on Hole 12.

With 23 points, Joe Khumalo won Dave’s Competition on May 15, which took the form of an IPS competition. He went ahead after a count out over Blessing Chiwaya, while Sonya du Plooy was third on 22 points.

Debbie Catlett, on a very good 32 points, won the chicken run on May May 17. Scelo Ndlovu was second on 25 points. The only two-club was carded by Debbie on Hole 8, and she also carded the most points in the jackpot: 12 points.

Dates to remember:
Dave’s Competition will be played on Wednesday in the form of an IPS and will be sponsored by Richard Catlett.
On Friday, the club will host a Chicken Run. On Saturday, the Club will host the Sarel Cilliers High School Day. The format is Four Ball Better Ball Stableford and there are many prizes to be won.
