All systems go at Dundee Pre-Primary as new friendships are built

New faces and big plans at Dundee Pre-Primary

Dundee Pre-Primary is starting on a high note for 2019, with many lovely new little faces having joined the school.

“We are privileged to serve our community and want to thank the parents who entrust us with their children to guide, love, protect and teach them to the best of our ability, to one day withstand the challenges of their formal school career,” Principal, Brenda Viljoen said.

The school’s motto is ‘The future starts here’ and it’s a motto which they proudly live up to.

“We strive to give each child a promising future. We follow the CAPS Curriculum for Grade R and we are satellite to Dundee Junior. The majority of our educators are qualified and two members are in their final phase of studies.”

Sifuna ukucacisa ukuthi yonke ingane ese Dundee Pre Primary sizithatha njengabantu abafanayo nabalinganayo bonke futhi siyazinikela kakhulu ngokuthi sibophathe bonke ngendlela ebagculisayo.

“We have two Junior Groups, one English speaking and one Afrikaans speaking. We also have three Grade R classes, two English speaking and one Afrikaans speaking and one Grade RR English speaking class.

“To make our day run smoothly, we use the CAPS daily programme and through this there is rotation of classes doing different activities. This could mean that the juniors playing outside and Grade R are busy indoors with dressing up, painting and drawing, building puzzles or experiencing the challenges of the jungle gym”

The school recently had the privilege of being visited by Mrs Coleman, the Department of Education’s DCES for ECD in the District. Unfortunately, the SEM, Mr Phakhati had to cancel his visit to the school to attend to matters in Nquthu.

“A great task lies ahead of us in 2019 and we are looking forward to giving only our best in time, knowledge, patience, empathy and love.
Anyone interested to know how Dundee Pre-Primary functions is more than welcome visit the school. Due to some children having moved, there are still a few open places in the English Classes, Grade RR and Grade R.

AGV. Kinders wat getrek het, is daar nog plek in die Afrikaanse Graad R en Junior Klasse.

“We would like to take this opportunity to wish all schools from the Department a good 2019. Voorspoed aan elke skoolhoof, onderwyser en leerder!
