Bowls league was a bumper fund raiser for Rotary

The annual Suzette Cup takes place this coming Saturday. Any trips with a lady as skip. Entrance fee is R100 per player.

It’s sad to say that the second highly successful edition of the Rotary Business League has come to an end. To all the participants, a huge thanks for your continued support. Fifty-six teams took the greens over the past 3 weeks to support the Rotary Club of Dundee’s massive fundraising drive. There was good food on offer, the barmen were kept busy and overall, great fellowship, fun and laughter were had by all. Congratulations to the winners of the six sections as well as to those won the coveted ‘Stone Last’ prize. To the committee, Rotarians, bar staff, greenkeeper, businesses, schools and spectators, well done.

The ATKV will also be collecting non-perishable items for the NCVV Service Centre in Glencoe as well as pet food for the Dundee SPCA. Dinner will be for sale each night, it will also be warming up, so there’s no excuse to come down to the club and support this drive for beneficiaries in the towns.
