Dundee loses another popular former policeman

Community mourns another loss

Dundee said another sad farewell this week following the passing of former popular policeman, Pat Halforty.

Pat died last week. He is fondly remembered for his dry sense of humour, loyalty and dedication to the police and community.

He left the police on medical grounds.

The memorial service will be held next Thursday, May 17, at the NG Kerk, Willson Street, from 11am.

He was proud of sons, Daniel – a school teacher, and Brandon who has received his Protea colours for fresh water fishing.

The Courier expresses their condolences to Jenny, their sons, family and many friends.
