Mini cricketers revel in maxi festival

With the Proteas 5-0 white wash of the Aussies still fresh in everyone’s mind, the KFC Mini Cricket Festival was the ideal opportunity to blood the Proteas of tomorrow.
Schools from Ladysmith, Glencoe, Dundee and other areas participated in Saturday’s KFC Mini Cricket Festival hosted by Uelzen Primary at Dundee High School. With boys and girls from Grade One to Grade Three given an opportunity to play in the blazing early summer sun, the children produced plenty of bowling, batting and fielding excitement.
