Siphiwe Ndela proves too strong at time trials

Was the first male to finish the 8km Mens run.

2km Walk Ladies: 1st Lani van der Mescht 17m58s; 2nd Dorea Coetzee 18m39s; 3rd Luzanne van der Mescht 20m53s.
2km Walk/Jog ladies: 1st America Gopie 15m04s; 2nd Anri Maree 15m20s;
2km Boys Run: 1st Suheshan Soobramoney 11m57s (P.B.).
2km Mens Walk: 1st Cronje Stadler 17m58s.
3km Ladies Walk: 1st Joyce Shabalala 26m30s.
3km Ladies Run: 1st Jayrushka Massallia 16m24s; 2nd Kholiwe Buthelezi 19m20s.
4km Ladies Run: 1st Thobeka Mbatha 19m36s.
8km Mens Run: 1st Siphiwe Ndela 27m12s (P.B.); 2nd Bongani Sabelo 28m38s; 3rd Joe Khumalo 30m36s; 4th Thokozani Phungula 30m37s; 5th Petrus Mavuso 35m20s.
Lani won the 2km ladies walk event in good time. Newcomer Dorea came second and Luzanne followed in third place. Miss “America” Gopie won the 2km ladies walk/jog event from Anri in second place. Suhesan ran another P.B. in the 2km boys run event. Cronje did well in the mens 2km walk event. Joyce had a great walk in the ladies 3km walk event. Jayruska shows consistency to win the ladies 3km run event from Kholiwe. Siphiwe is a flying superstar who had a special run in which he smashed his personal best and won the mens 8km run event in a fantastic time.
