Dannhauser Primary prove that readers are leaders

Dannhauser Priamry learners participated in the Youth Drama Festival as well as the Reader Cup Competition.

Dannhauser Primary School learners are making the school proud as they compete against other schools in the district.
Recently learners participated in the Youth Drama Festival as well as the Reader Cup Competition. In May, two of the school’s learners participated in the Youth Drama Festival. This years theme was racism. Schools from around the circuit showcased phenomenal performances from poetry, prepared and unprepared speeches as well as dramatic arts. Dannhauser Primary School’s Ziyanda Maphanga and Sibahle Dube came third in their respective categories of Contemporary and Creative poetry.
It did not end there for the school. In June, four grade six learners participated in the Reader Cup Competition with English and Isizulu as the languages of reading and understanding. Nkosikhna Msimango, Mesuli Gama, Thamin Govender and Boitumelo Mdladla put Dannhauser Primary once again on the map by being placed third amongst ten schools in the circuit.
