Tribute to: Robert Heindrich Tschirpig known as Bubi Tschirpig by granddaughter, Sonja Goosen(Tschirpig), who is married to Marthinus, who also saw Mr Tschirpig as a father figure.
(Mr Tschirpig passed away on June 25 – . His memorial service will be held at the Lutheran Church in Browning Street Dundee at 11 am this Saturday)
“A young boy who grew up on a farm in Gluckstadt outside Vryheid grew into a teenager who was already starting to work hard to become a farmer and then grew up into a man who met a lovely lady, who is my gran today, and married her at a young age. They have 5 children and 9 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
They have 5 children and 9 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. They moved to Dundee and lived on Riverside Farm for a very long time. His children were out of the house so we, my brother and myself, grew up in his house. He was always caring and always gave good advice. When I started to work and iIwanted to ask him something about cattle or anything else, he was the one that gave me answers.
He was the man that acted like a father figure to me because I never had one. Being married for 52 years to my gran and having known everyone loved him so much we just want to yhank God for relieving him of his pain. Oupa Bubi you are in a safe place now. May your soul R.I.P. we all love you forever thank for being there for all of us.”
