SPCA, churches, schools are all fair game for these thieves

The Special Task Force will be investigating the cases. No arrests have been made.

No place is safe from brazen thieves as they target schools, churches and even the SPCA to the growing list of rampant burglaries.
Two schools have been broken into in the past two weeks. Dundee Junior School was broken into between April 9 at 3 pm and April 11 at 6:20 am. A welding machine, a Bosch drill and a sanding machine were stolen.
Noordenveld School was also targeted between April 13 at 2:30 pm and April 14 at 7:45 am. Entry was gained through the door. A computer set, printer, radio speakers, microwave, stove, brooms, toilet paper, soaps, pots and science kits were stolen. The Faith Apostolic church on McKenzie Street was targeted between 6 am and 4 pm on April 14 where the door was forced open and three wheelbarrows, a window frame and one wooden door were stolen.
In Lindelani, an LG Flat screen TV was stolen on April 10 at 10 pm. In another incident in Lindelani, a 51 cm Black Samsung Plasma TV was stolen on April 11. On Yule Street, thieves gained entrance through the window and stole a black safe and two driver’s licence cards. On April 14, a Plasma TV was taken after thieves gained entrance through the door in Strathmore Park.

In Sibongile, cigarettes, airtime and cooldrinks were stolen after the door was forced open between April 18 and 19. In two other incidents in the CBD, a flat screen TV, takkies, a DVD player and a 32 cm Samsung Flat Screen TV were stolen on April 12 and 19. The SPCA was also broken into on April 22. The side fence was cut open and two Alsatian puppies were stolen. The Special Task Force will be investigating the cases. No arrests have been made.
