Chinese shop owner killed during robbery
Workers tied up while robbers search for cash
A Chinese shop owner has died on his way to hospital after he was attacked by armed robbers earlier this morning.
A group of armed men targeted the shop on Victoria Street this morning, tying up the two female workers with wire and and left in a back room.
The owner was also tied up and had his mouth shut with duct tape. The men then assaulted him continuously while demanding to know where the money was.
The female workers managed to escaped and get help.
The armed robbers then escaped.
The owner was rushed to hospital but sadly died on the way.
