Toyota Hilux hijacked in Gandhi Road

A brazen hijacking took place in Gandhi Road this morning (October 14), leaving the authorities and the community on high alert.

A Toyota Hilux, registration number NKR 8363, was forcibly taken from its owner.

According to reports, the driver was assaulted by the hijackers, who then commandeered the vehicle. The culprits fled the scene with the bakkie, leaving the injured owner to look on in bewilderment.

Police are investigating and working tirelessly to apprehend the criminals and recover the stolen vehicle.
