Monument bids farewell to Mrs Bentley

She is wished everything of the best in her retirement

After 41 years of dedicated service, Mrs D Bentley has retired, leaving behind a legacy of academic excellence and fond memories. Her remarkable journey at Monument Primary School began on January 1, 1984, with mathematics being her passion and ‘claim to fame’.


Mrs Bentley’s impact was undeniable. She taught Grade 1, 3, 4 and 7 with unwavering dedication, earning praise from surrounding schools for her high standards. Principals, staff and learners alike respected her tireless efforts.



Principal Mr AB Rich expressed his deepest gratitude for Mrs Bentley’s outstanding commitment. The staff celebrated her remarkable career with a farewell luncheon, wishing her a joyful and well-deserved retirement.
