Mthombeni Foundation gives back for Women’s Month

"We did this with the intention of showing love to women and children"

The Mthombeni Foundation celebrated Women’s Month recently by visiting the Umbulwane community.

They served them breakfast in the form of soup and bread. The members also provided clothes to those in need. “We know the pain of not having clothes and something to eat, therefore this gesture was to show people that we care,” said Mzee Duma from the foundation.

The Mthombeni Foundation would like to thank their partners – Zama Hlongwane, Muke Mkhize, Kwanele Mbatha, Zanele Ntimbane and Si Nomcebo – for organising this great initiative, as well as Sasko for always partnering with them.

“Our wish is for Ladysmith entrepreneurs to support our soup kitchen so that we can continue to help people in our communities,” added Mzee.
