Rooipoint Parkrun puts a ‘Spring’ in their step

Rooipoint was buzzing with energy this past Saturday morning as eager athletes came together to participate in the weekly 5km parkrun.

Runners arrived dressed in colourful attire as they celebrated the start of Spring.

The Top 15 finishers were as follows:

About Parkrun:

The event takes place at Rooi Point Farm, End of Jooste Road.It is not a race against other runners, but rather a 5k timed run that can be ‘anything’ a participant would want it to be, whether for fun or as part of a training plan.

It provides an opportunity for the entire local community, regardless of age or gender, to come together on a regular basis to enjoy this beautiful park while also getting physically active.

To get involved, simply register on https://www.parkrun.co.za/ before your first park run.

Then set your alarm for every Saturday morning and get there!
