Donating clothes and groceries for Women’s Day

The initiative was sparked by seeing a need for donations on Facebook

Zethu Radebe, a community member from Ezakheni C-Section, took it upon herself to celebrate Women’s Day with other women by generously donating clothing as well as grocery parcels to the needy.

This initiative was sparked by a Facebook group where many women from the community were seeking a donation of clothes. Zethu decided to help through a Facebook group called ‘Ladies House’ to identify one home they could make a difference in.

“Seeing this on Facebook, I just thought I should bring it all together and Women’s Day seemed fitting for this occasion. Through sponsors that I will not mention, I was able to get donations, as well as money to buy groceries,” said Zethu.
