Ncandu Bowling Club members enjoy successful 2024 prize giving and AGM
The Ncandu Bowling Club hosted its annual prize giving and annual general meeting at the club on Saturday, July 27.
Earlier that day, the club also hosted their annual Drawn Fours Competition, with bowlers giving it their best shot at winning titles.
The day was concluded with the annual prize-giving ceremony and AGM, after which those in attendance enjoyed a deliciously homemade soup and warm bread.
Congratulations to the newly elected 2025 club committee members who were announced as follows:
Managing members: Wayne Klose (Deputy President), Titia Engelbrecht (President), Tertia Theunissen (Secretary), Flip van der Merwe (Perks Caretaker), Eugene Erasmus (Competition Secretary), Hennie and Marietjie Eksteen (Treasurers), and Konrad Gossman (maintenance).
Additional Members: Winnie Hunter, Willie van Aswegen, Hettie Bouwer, and Marina Viljoen.
The prize-giving winners were as follows:
- Drawn Fours winners: Garreth Klose, Titia Engelbrecht, Tertia Theunissen, and Hettie Bouwer.
- Drawn mixed-trip winners: Hannes Willemse, Willie van Aswegen, and Tertia Theunissen.
- Men Trips winners: Hannes Willemse, Flip van der Merwe, and Trevour Swanepoel.
- Lady Trips winners: Marina Viljoen, Titia Engelbrecht, and Hettie Bouwer.
- Mens Pairs winners: Eugene Erasmus and Trevor Swanepoel.
- Drawn Pairs: Garreth Klose.
- Ladies Pairs: Marina Viljoen and Titia Engelbrecht.
- Singles handicap winner: Hettie Bouwer.
