Local resident gives back to the community

There was singing, dancing and playing with hula hoops

In the month of July, Gail Qwabe decided to give back to the community by lending a helping hand to Lwazi Crèche in Ezakheni. The morning started with a bang, as Gail and her team arrived at the crèche with food and gifts for the children.

Each child also had the opportunity to read stories to the visitors, followed by a talent show.

Gail commented that, “My wish is that the community can acknowledge institutions like this and help them with gifts or food. What I have seen is that no one really notices them, but I promised I would be back again because they want to improve in lots of things. It’s just that they need a little bit of a push to upgrade and be successful.”

Special mention goes to the sponsor of the day for giving these children hope; as well as the principal of the crèche, Thandelile Malinga, and the parents for trusting Gail and her team with their kids.
