Residents expected to be without water for four hours

uThukela would like to inform the community of Alfred Duma Local Municipality that the Ezakheni Water Treatment Works will be shut down for approximately four hours between 12:00 and 16:00 today (February 29).

This is due to urgent maintenance of the reservoirs.

As a result, areas such as Ezakheni, Acaciavale, Old Ladysmith, St Chad’s and part of Steadville will be affected by water interruptions.

The plant will restart its operations after 16:00 this afternoon.
