Learners get knowledge on Jaws of Life

The learners were also given in-depth information on how to use the Jaws of Life with the help of paramedics.

Safety is very important whenever one is using the road and it was with that in mind that grade 7 learners from Vryheid Public Primary School were educated on how to assist those involved in traffic accidents.
The learners were also given in-depth information on how to use the Jaws of Life with the help of paramedics from KwaZulu Private Ambulance Services.

The practical examples went towards assisting them with their Jaws of Life project which is part of their technology syllabus.
Technology teacher, Mr Gabela, thanked Frikkie Bekker and his team for going over and beyond with the demonstration
A special thank you went to Pro Assist Towing’s Khaleel Ramlall for sponsoring the vehicle that was cut up during the demonstration and Leeshen Bhoonpershad who operated the breakdown.
