St Dominics Newcastle celebrates remarkable academic achievements

Their remarkable achievements not only signify their individual success but also serve as an inspiration to all learners to strive for excellence in their academic endeavours.

Dedication, hard work, and inspiration took centre stage at St Dominics Newcastle as we proudly recognise our Top 5 achievers for Term 3.

These outstanding learners exemplify academic excellence, setting a commendable example for their peers and the entire school community.

Heartfelt congratulations go out to these exceptional individuals:

  • Grade 7: Shriyaal Siveraj, Shiloh Uys, Carmen Schmidtke, Michaela Murdey and Emma Walsh.
  • Grade 8: Shajeeah Badloo, Sonia Nandkoomar, Arnav Ramdas (absent from photo), Zuhairaa Goga and Luca Nixon.
  • Grade 9: Shruthi Govender, Siphiwokuhle Qwabe, Zoe Kruger, Amahle Mbatha and Zivha Maharaj.
  • Grade 10: Shakira Seedat, Destiny Jones, Husna Docrat, Grace Wu and Nontsikelelo Nkosi.
  • Grade 11: Siphephelo Mabona, Ashadh Ramrung, Ethan Kruger, Nqubeko Makhubo and Aphelele Mkhwanazi.

These learners stand as shining examples of perseverance and going beyond the expected, aligning with the words of Charles Kendall Adams:

“No student ever attains very eminent success by simply doing what is required of him: it is the amount and excellence of what is over and above the required, that determines the greatness of ultimate distinction.”

We take immense pride in their accomplishments and look forward to witnessing their continued success and contributions to our school community.
