Tears of happiness as Mpilenhle Sibiya is crowned Miss Wonder Woman Supreme

Mpilenhle Sibiya was crowned Miss Supreme as the overall winner, while Lizelle Muller, Thandolwethu Nokwe, Abigail Singh and Esihle Mangwana were each crowned queen in their respective age categories.

While the Boks were gearing up to take on the All Blacks Saturday night, a bevy of 29 beautiful models vied for a chance to be crowned queen at the third annual Miss Wonder Woman pageant.

…And just like our national rugby heroes hoped a win would ‘inspire … and give people from all walks of life hope’, the host of Miss Wonder Woman, Sharné Dheochand, set her heart on inspiring hope, courage and strength in people fighting cancer.

The pageant served as a fundraising event in support of Reach for Recovery, a breast cancer support organisation that offers emotional care and practical support.
