Learners donate food to children’s home

The sole purpose of the visit was to donate all the food they have collected over the last few months, as part of a Mandela Day initiative.

Harpo Primary School learners took it upon themselves to pay a visit to Inkululeko Children’s Home recently. The sole purpose of the visit was to donate all the food they have collected over the last few months, as part of a Mandela Day initiative.
Educator Ronel Nigrini explained that Harpo Primary is a ‘no fee school’ and that even though the children do not have much, they gave what they could with a joyful heart.
“We also took balloons and sweets, which the learners handed over to the little ones, who were very chuffed indeed. We sang a song and played with them too. We had a wonderful time!”
