Soccer teams ‘build’ up to cup success

Dortmund and Line City made it through to the final, where Dortmund won by two goals to one.

Eight teams in the AbaQulusi Industrial League played for the Builder’s Kiosk Cup at the Coronation sports ground over the long weekend.
Spectators graced the field with their presence, rooting for the teams they support.
Vilakazi Express went head-to-head with Amabhubesi FC, while Line City played against Coronation FC, Masiphula FC took on Paradise FC and lastly, Dortmund FC did battle with Green Buffalos. These teams are from different zones, such as Mondlo, Bhekuzulu, Coronation, Zwathi and Shoba.
Dortmund and Line City made it through to the final, where Dortmund won by two goals to one.
The winners took home trophies, gold medals, soccer kit, a soccer ball and R500 in cash. The runners-up received silver medals, a soccer ball and a R500 cash prize.
