IFP Women’s Brigade visits family of slain woman

At this stage, it is unclear why Zodwa Shezi was killed

It was a sad moment for both the family of Zodwa Shezi and the Inkatha Freedom Party Women’s Brigade (IFPWB) today (September 19).

League members (under the uThukela District) paid a visit to the Shezi family at Emnyangweni Village, Estcourt, to mourn and express their support.

This comes after Zodwa Shezi, a member of the Shezi family and also an IFP member, was shot and killed on Thursday (September 14). She was found dead the next day.

Nqubuka also asked Minister of Police General Bheki Cele to speedily deal with perpetrators who kill women.
