Ethan comes 12th in SA Junior Golf Championships

Ethan, who has been playing golf since he was 13, said that the standard of play was 'very high' and the prevailing winds added to a tough few days.

Ethan Jansen, a Grade 11 learner at Dundee High School, finished a credible 12th in his age group at the SA Junior Golf Championships played at San Lameer.
Hosted and presented by SA Kids Golf, the international championship drew 131 participants aged between seven and 18, who competed in various age divisions.
“I am determined to carry on playing golf.
“I want to thank everyone who assisted me with a sponsorship to attend the tournament – especially my fellow Dundee Country Club members,” Ethan said.
He has since been selected to play in the Open League for Dundee and also for his school’s golf team, boasting a single-figure handicap.
A motivated Ethan says that once he matriculates, his dream is to go overseas and study sports management.
