Cold Saturday, but hot shots on target
Interest in the sport of shooting is definitely growing, and the participants displayed some excellent skills.
The air was cold, but the shooting was hot when members of Alwynkop Club met for their regular shoot and three-gun shoot on Saturday. Members come from the Dundee district, Newcastle, Vryheid and other areas to display their marksman(woman)ship.
After a morning of serious shooting, the results were:
Best Open Division: Pieter Bouwer (Newcastle).
Best PCC Division: Adriaan Odendaal (Vryheid).
Best Production Division: Daniel du Plessis (Dundee).
Best Production Division ladies: Linda du Plessis (Dundee).
Production Optics Division: Koos Smit (Newcastle).
Best Standard Division: Chris de Jager (Dundee).
