Sarel Cilliers pupils to exhibit their artwork

The exhibition will showcase the work of the Sarel Cilliers students and will also showcase the work of local artist Khanya Mbatha.

This week saw the return of students to school after the mid-year break.

Art exhibition: Term 3 has many exciting events happening, starting with the art exhibition Veni Vidi Vedo (I came, I saw, I see) on 27 July. The exhibition will showcase the work of the Sarel Cilliers students and will also showcase the work of local artist Khanya Mbatha, who will be available to discuss his work. The exhibition will include live art performances as well as students modelling outfits made from recycled materials. Be sure not to miss it.

Parents Evening:
Parents Evening will take place in the second week of term. Parents are encouraged to use this opportunity to have a one-on-one meeting with the educators to discuss learner progress.

The Matrics will be working towards their trial exams and there will be extra classes on Saturdays. Sport will continue, with the Sarel Cilliers 50th birthday celebration on 11/12 August being a focal point for many teams to show off their soccer, netball, hockey and rugby prowess. With a busy term ahead we hope to see you at many of our events.
