A warm meal to fight off the icy weather

A freshly-prepared, home-cooked meal on an icy-cold day came as a relief to hundreds of locals.

The Food for Life Estcourt team braved the weather on July 9 and started meal preparations early in the morning.

A large pot of vegetable breyani was cooked, and volunteers packaged the meals to distribute. 500 meals were handed out in Forderville and Drakensview.
