Cold week ahead as snow falls on the mountains

Keep warm during the icy days ahead

Snow fell yesterday (July 10) on the Drakensberg Mountains.

Local resident Marinda Neethling had the opportunity to fly to the ‘Berg today with a local pilot to take a few photos and was happy to share them with the Ladysmith Gazette. 

She had an amazing time taking in the spectacular scenery and taking pics of the mountains covered with a thick white blanket of snow.

Yes, the snowfall has brought cold weather which is expected to continue throughout the day and into the rest of the week for Ladysmith.
