Alfred Duma official arrested for murder
The suspect's next court appearance will be on Monday (July 10)
A high-ranking official from Alfred Duma Local Municipality was arrested on Saturday (July 1) after a shooting in the Umbumbulu area of Durban.
According to police spokesperson Constable Thenjiswa Ngcobo, a 38-year-old man allegedly shot and killed a 36-year-old man on Saturday at Ensongeni Reserve.
The suspect was apprehended and has since appeared in court.

A case of murder is being investigated.
When approached, Alfred Duma Local Municipality said they are not in a position to comment at this stage.
