Barcelona FC leaves for play-offs
The winner moves up to the KZN ABC Motsepe League
Barcelona Football Club (FC), carrying the hopes of soccer fans in the Uthukela District, are taking part in the second division play-offs.
The team left for Glencoe this morning (June 2), where they will play their first match tomorrow against Ilembe District.
The games will be held over the weekend, with the final on Sunday.

All the teams that finished at the top of their respective regional leagues will be taking part.
A total of 11 teams representing each district will compete for a spot in the Second Division of the KZN ABC Motsepe League. Barcelona aims to follow in the footsteps of Drakensberg FC, who are currently playing in the KZN ABC Motsepe League.
