IFP councillor taken in for questioning by police
Councillors were shocked as police detained one of their own at Exco
An IFP councillor attending an Exco meeting at the Town Hall was detained by police this afternoon (May 18).
Councillor Abbas Warasally was taken to Ladysmith police station by police officers from out of town.
He is currently being questioned.
The Ladysmith Gazette is unaware if he faces any charges at this stage.
