Danny Cat teaches Ichthus learners road safety

Danny Cat was impressed at how knowledgeable the learners were.

On Thursday October 2, Danny Cat, together with his traffic officer friend, paid the Ichthus Grade RR-3 learners a visit. He was welcomed with great enthusiasm.
Learning to cross Mr Zebra, together with Danny Cat, while saying: “Look right, look left, look right and listen” was a highlight of the morning.

Danny Cat was quite impressed at how knowledgeable the learners were when it came to the rules of the road, as well as what you are not permitted to do when driving a vehicle.

At the end of the day, Ichthus learners learnt that road safety is not only about being observant and alert; it is also about using knowledge and common sense to make sure that the highest level of safety is maintained at all times. Open day: Thursday 5 November, 10am to midday.

The school invites all parents whose children have been accepted at Ichthus for 2016 to come and enjoy our open day with us. Any other parents who are interested are invited to come and visit our school as well.

All our learners’ art work, school work, projects, sport and culture will be on display. For any queries, kindly contact the school office on 034 212 1276.
