Four male suspects between the age of 29 and 33 were arrested this morning (March 10) for being in possession of illicit drugs. They were caught in the CBD.
Police found about 40 heroin tablets, as well as four mandrax tablets.
According to SAPS spokesperson Warrant Officer Basheer Khan, a small amount of cash suspected to be the proceeds of crime was also confiscated by police.

The suspects are expected to appear in the Ladysmith Magistrate’s Court later today. They face drug possession charges.
