Abbas Warasally no longer a councillor
The National Executive Committee removed him with immediate effect

The Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) has expelled Abbas Warasally from the position of councillor for Ward 20.
This after an audio clip made waves across social media. On the clip, a man, believed to be the councillor, is heard promising a woman a permanent job in exchange for a favour.

The IFP National Executive Committee (NEC) issued a statement today (March 6), saying that Warasally has been recalled as a councillor and his resignation is effective immediately.
