2023 golf season kicks off
Geoff Richmond and Darren Parker secured the first win of the year
Despite the very wet and tough course conditions, golfers kicked off the 2023 season at Estcourt Golf Club with a club-sponsored better-ball competition. Winning on a superb score of 43 points were Geoff Richmond and Darren Parker.
In second place on 37 points were Dr Nkosinathi Khuzwayo and Hlanganani ‘Snoopy’ Hlongwane.
In third spot on 36 points were Bruce Marx and Ruben Goosen.
Closest to the pin on no. 16 was Geoff Richmond, who was the only two-clubber on no. 7 and 16.
January 14 sees the return of the monthly medal competition sponsored by the Mortimer Motors Group.
