Dannhauser area faces water supply interruptions

The municipality has advised that water will be restored by first thing tomorrow morning. Read more here:

Taps have again run dry in the Dannhauser and surrounding area (including Durnacol and Emafusini) and the Amajuba District Municipality has blamed load shedding for the water supply disruptions.

In a statement the Municipality said: “This is due to on-going load shedding and a faulty backup generator.

“Because the reservoir water levels were already at 0%, we were forced to close all water outlets while we repaired our backup generator. Water will be restored first thing tomorrow morning. We have arranged for water tankers to assist until the water supply is fully restored. We regret any inconvenience this may cause.”
