Two injured as vehicle overturns on the N3

Shortly before 09:00 today (December 7) a cash-carrying (cash in-transit) vehicle overturned on the N3 near Midway.

It is believed that the vehicle veered out of control and rolled down the adjacent embankment. When emergency services arrived on scene, two people were trapped inside the vehicle.

Once they were removed, it was established that they had sustained moderate to serious injuries.

They were treated on scene before being transported to hospital.
