Cupcake sale raises funds to fight cancer

A cupcake sale was held at The Square shopping centre last weekend as a fund-raiser to help fight cancer and to spread awareness.
Organiser Sheena Sibran would like to thank all the sponsors, ladies who baked the cupcakes, and Checkers for their donation of cupcakes towards this fund-raising initiative.

Due to the success of this event, plans are in the pipeline to make it an annual Cancer Association of South Africa (CanSA) fund-raiser that will take place in Ladysmith.
