One dead in horrific crash along N11
The 'jaws of life' were used to extricate those who were trapped in the wreckage
One person died in a horrific head-on collision along the N11 this morning (September 5).
Two vehicles were involved in the accident.
Aside from the one fatality, three people suffered serious injuries and were rushed to hospital.
The ‘jaws of life’ had to be used to rescue trapped occupants in one of the vehicles.

The cause of the crash is unknown at this stage.
Public Safety, police, emergency services and towing services responded to the scene.
