Newcastle Corner Spar ‘adopts’ fundraising ‘pet’
Residents can make a donation towards the SPCA using this bright-eyed new 'pet'.
Newcastle Corner Spar recently ‘adopted’ a one-of-a-kind critter to benefit the Newcastle SPCA.
‘Spaleta’ is a unique collection tin dog bought from the Alberton SPCA, which is now permanently housed at the shopping centre store.
Residents are encouraged to leave a monetary donation in the tin when out and about doing their daily grocery shopping. This amount will then be handed over to the Newcastle SPCA on a regular basis.
