Volksrust matrics engage in English debate

Learners prepared for the trial exams by participating in debate sessions.

Before the trial examinations, the matric English Home Language learners of Volksrust High School wrapped up their class time on a strong note by participating in debate sessions.

They attempted to tackle the questions ‘Is Hamlet a character to be sympathised with?’ and ‘Is studying literature even really necessary or relevant?’ through their arguments.

The presenters intelligently explored many points of view and provided each other with thought-provoking insights.
