Three dead after truck veers off R34
Emergency services officials report that the truck driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle.
Three people have reportedly died, after a truck driver allegedly lost control and veered off the R34 near Utrecht yesterday afternoon (August 19).
According to a statement by Kwazulu Private Ambulance Services, paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found that three occupants had sustained fatal injuries. All three had succumbed to their injuries before emergency services arrived.
The exact cause of the incident is unclear at this stage and will remain subject to further investigations.
