A good day on the course for Geoff

Golfers teed off for the monthly mug/stableford competition

The August Mortimer Motors Group, monthly mug/stableford competition was played at Estcourt Golf Club on August 6.

Geoff Richmond played a super round of golf, claiming his first mug, shooting a nett score of 68 and 40 stableford points, well done Geoff.

Second in the medal competition, on a two-way count  out on nett 71, was Harry Koovarjee. In third place was Deejay Ramdhav.

Second, in the stableford competition was visitor Carel du Plessis who scored 39 points and in third, on a count out, Harry Koovarjee prevailed once again over Deejay, on 37 points.

Winner of the coveted Brokenshas Multi Franchise best gross was once again Adrian Brown on a score of 78 gross, congratulations.

The Gerry’s Motors closest to the pin for 2 on no. 2 went to Deejay and closest  on the par 3, no. 7 was Carel du Plessis.

The jackpot on 12 points went to Rodney Smith. Two clubs were claimed by Carel on no. 3 and  7 as well as Mayur Baboolal on no. 7.
