Tugela reaches for an ‘African dream’

The school's annual hair show honours the skills and imagination of hairdressing learners.

Tugela Pre-Vocational School has announced that for the first time in three years, its annual hair show extravaganza returns this September.

The event, to be hosted at the school, is themed ‘African Dream’.

Several seasoned stylists, a make-up artist, and a well-known model from our community will judge the presentation,” said Carmen Prinsloo, the final-year learners’ hairdressing teacher.

She explained that the hair show is one school’s annual highlights, aimed at honouring the skills and imagination of the hairdressing learners. Their parents, guardians and immediate family will also be present.
