Burned baby found dead at old dump-site

Police are investigating a case of ‘concealment of birth’ after a burnt foetus was found last Saturday (July 2) at the old Dundee dump-site in Sibongile.
Security guards were on patrol when one of them found the dead baby.
The guard reported it to his superiors and then the police were contacted, as well as paramedics. According to paramedics who responded to the scene, they suspect that the foetus was between four and five months old.
However, this is yet to be confirmed by forensics.
The tiny little body was removed to the state mortuary for a postmortem to be conducted.
