Durga Murti concert sucess
The headliners were the SAN Productions Show Band of Durban, featuring artists such as Preven Moodley, Dharam Maharaj, Mahendra, Reenesh, Rockstar Ryan and the Shrivani Dance Academy.
Dundee Durga Murti committee hosted a spectacular musical extravaganza on Saturday at the Majuba College Hall.
The event was well attended and organised, with strict Covid protocols in place. The headliners were the SAN Productions Show Band of Durban, featuring artists such as Preven Moodley, Dharam Maharaj, Mahendra, Reenesh, Rockstar Ryan and the Shrivani Dance Academy.
Items included devotional, classical, Bollywood and bhangra favourites.
Families enjoyed the evening out and were kept on their feet as they danced to popular hits. Guru Umeshvaren Nagiah thanks all the sponsors and everyone involved in making the event a success. All proceeds will go to the Durga Murti project, which will be unveiled later this year.
