Extending your shopping pleasure at the charity shop

The volunteers have been hard at work organising the bigger, better shop

The Hospice Charity Shop has been extended and renovated.

So, if you haven’t visited the shop which is located in Victoria Street (Methodist Church yard), be sure to do so.

The friendly volunteers are ready to assist.

The Hospice Charity Shop is a fund raising arm for Estcourt Hospice Association, which relies heavily on the funds generated from the sales at the shop.

Inside the shop, you can find bargains on goods ranging from books to bedding and clothing to kitchenware.

There is a wide variety of items, which are meticulously displayed by the eight volunteers at the shop.

Items at the shop are donated by the public and then resold.

“We are very appreciative of the generous support we receive from the community. We welcome donations of bedding, towels, kitchenware and anything else you may have lying around the house or garage,”  said volunteer Belinda Smith.

Donations can be dropped off at the shop.

The charity shop is open every Monday and Friday from 08:30 to 15:00 and on Saturdays from 09:00 to 12:00.
