Pumps to be switched on tomorrow

According to Thukela District Municipality, the pumps at the eMbizeni Water Works will be switched on tomorrow (May 2).

uThukela Mayor Inkosi NB Shabalala would like to inform the community of Ezakheni, Acaciavale, Chisty Place, Steadville and Aloe Park that the construction company is proceeding with the de-silting of the eMbizeni Water Works. The pumps are thus expected to be switched on tomorrow to commence with the abstraction process.

uThukela adds that councillors of the aforementioned affected areas are requested to ‘collect’ water tankers at the abattoir situated near 5SAI army camp.
