Club Championship success for Shane

A total of 52 golfers took part in the annual Club Champs over the weekend. It was a resounding success, with perfect weather conditions.

A very big thank you to our gracious sponsors – Blurock Quarry and Procon Precast – for sponsoring the competition for the second year.

Thanks also to everyone for making this year’s championships a success.

Results: Club champion for 2022 is Shane Mothilal.

A Division: First – Shane Mothilal on 156 gross.

Second – Rajen Goodoon on 162 gross. Third – Nkosinathi Khuzwayo on 164 gross.

B Division: First – George van Niekerk on 165 gross. Second – Deejay Ramdhav on 166 gross. Third – Naveen Rajcoomar on 168 gross.

C Division: First – Denal Budhu on 177 gross. Second – Jeremy Hunter-Smith on 182 gross. Third – Gordan Chotu on 186 gross. Overall best nett for the weekend went to Deejay Ramdhav with 138 nett.

Ladies’ Division: First – Delia le Roux. Second – Candice Hunter-Smith. Third – Laura Erasmus.

Juniors

First – Spencer Hunter-Smith.

Second – Ethan Richmond. Third -James Hunter-Smith. Fourth – Sharne van der Merwe.
